Social Golf Marketing was created by Samuel Jones, a former PGA Professional golfer, and current YouTuber and social media content creator. After seven years of membership to the Professional Golfer’s Association, Sam took his passion for golf fashion and product to social media creating, The Golf Fashion Guy. YouTube followed shortly after, the channel has published over 170 videos and has amassed over 5,500 subscribers. After three years of working as a golf professional and simultaneously building his social media presence, Sam, a decade after beginning, left the life of a golf pro behind changing careers and accepted a Social Media Specialist role with global golf equipment manufacturer, Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG). Exciting, dynamic, creative, empowering, all terms that helped describe the two and a half years Sam had at PXG. Sam helped more than triple PXG’s social media following internationally, producing over 200 pieces of content for the brand working with the likes of golfing icon, Mr Gary Player, LIV Golf Presenter & Broadcaster Rachel Drummond, TV Presenter Dan Walker, DJ Locksmith, Arsenal Football Legend Lee Dixon and more. In late 2023, Sam joined the team at SwingSupply as Marketing & Content Director. This position gave Sam the opportunity to direct his focus towards the production of content whilst gaining a greater understanding and knowledge of the world of marketing, this time from the e-commerce perspective. Social Golf Marketing was born in early 2024 after parting ways with Swing Supply. Current clients include MGP Nutrition and Golf Guy Reviews (Social Media Creator / YouTuber).
